State police in Somerset are investigating a fatal farm accident involving a teenager in southern Somerset County.
A call came into the 911 center around 9:45 a.m., sending rescue workers to Lohr Road in Greenville Township, Somerset 911 Coordinator David Fox said.
County 911 officials were told a piece of farm equipment fell onto the individual, who Somerset County Coroner Wallace Miller identified as a 16-year-old boy.
Miller said state police in Somerset would be releasing additional information on the incident.
State police said that the incident remained under investigation as of late Monday evening.
