Texas – Family and friends gathered together at a vigil held earlier this evening for a teen killed in an accident on her family’s farm last week.

Emma Ivanovsky,15, died on the farm located outside of Sacramento when the tractor she was riding slipped down a steep hill.

The vigil was held on the same softball fields she played on with teammate, Rachel Dechiara.

Dechiara said she’s still trying to make sense of what happened. “I’m still shocked by it and can’t believe it.” she said.

A Chick-fil-A restaurant in The Woodlands also paid tribute to the teen today by giving 20 percent of their sales to the Ivanovsky family.

“It’s amazing the impact she had and all the friends and how everybody thought of her.” said Paul Ivanovsky, the teen’s father.

He hopes everyone remembers his daughter when they see two things, converse sneakers and tootsie rolls. “…the stuff she loved…they’re going to associate that and it’s become kind of symbolic, we’re really grateful for that.” he said.
