The 11-year-old who died was identified by authorities as Logan Van Eaton of Edgemont. The names of the other two teens were not released.
The driver had taken the
two into a corral on the property to show them a calf, Mangan said. They
boarded the ATV, and the driver was turning the wheel to exit the corral when the vehicle fell into a hole, and rolled over on its passenger side. The driver and female passenger escaped unharmed. The 11-year-old boy had fallen out, Mangan said, and the vehicle rolled over on top of him. His injuries, Mangan said, proved fatal.
